My professional experience spans various aspects of mental health care, providing me with a comprehensive and well-rounded approach to treatment. I have worked in the inpatient psychiatric setting, where I gained invaluable expertise in managing acute psychiatric conditions and delivering crisis intervention. Additionally, my work in outpatient behavioral health has equipped me with the skills to support clients through ongoing treatment, fostering long-term resilience and growth. My experience with adolescent clients, specifically those aged 13-18, has enabled me to address the unique mental health needs of young people with specialized, developmentally sensitive care. My involvement in clinical research has further contributed to advancing psychiatric treatment methods and enhancing patient outcomes through evidence-based practices. With this diverse background, I bring a high level of knowledge, skill, and dedication to delivering individualized, high-quality care for each client.

PMHNPs typically hold either a Master’s or Doctoral degree in nursing, along with specialized clinical training in psychiatric care.
PMHNPs work in a variety of settings, including hospitals, private practices, community health centers, and schools. PMHNPs in Maryland are licensed to prescribe medications and perform psychotherapy independently.
